I've got one on a car I'm building. The fit was okay, not excellent and not terrible. I had to remove some material from the edges to get acceptable gaps. The worst one was the top edge which rubbed hard on the body until I opened it up. Pretty standard for aftermarket fiberglass, no major rework or anything but expect to do some sanding. It's significantly lighter than the 3.8 wings. I think it's a good part. You can make your own uprights pretty easily out of aluminum sheet.
I'm surprised Kognition is making the wing. I emailed him a few times about purchasing a wing and he didn't have any interest in selling me an element without the whole mounting system, which he doesn't make for 911's. He made it pretty clear that he didn't want to waste time making a wing with Porsche mounting locations or just sell wings alone. Maybe he has realized that Porsche guys spend more money than guys in Mitsubishi's
. You should also have a look at the carbon fiber wings Jae Lee (Mirage International) sells. They are very nice and cost a couple hundred dollars less than Kognition.
