Once you get it set up right you will be very happy with MFI. I have run mine with the MFI for 26 years. Once it was set properly I didn't have to touch it. As mentioned above, make certain the throttle bodies are in great shape (not just OK) as if they are worn, it will be difficult to impossible to get it to run right at idle/light throttle. I did get MPG in the high 20s but never 30 with the 2.0l.
