Hey guys..

My '74 is stripped down to no windows, no carpet, and one seat. I keep getting a real strong oil/petrol smell in the car. I have checked the fuel lines. They are all have been replaced with alum tubing.

I don't want to put in my new carpet and other interior pieces and have the whole thing stinking so bad no one wants to take a ride.

Is it possible the one seat in there is making the whole car smell like oil/petrol. Could the missing rear window be the cause? The car is under a cover so maybe the fumes are migrating from the engine bay to the drivers cabin???
