Wait till you do it a second time, and realize that even with the drain plug not obstructing the drain hole the oil still flows faster that the inlet permits. I ended up with 5 qts of hot oil all over the place twice before I realized the only pan that will catch the quanity of oil dumped by a P-car is a large antifreeze drain pan.
