Hi all, today was the day I decided to try using Vaseline on the rubber pieces on my car.
After applying on the tail, rear bumperettes, and the front smile the car sat in the sun for a couple of hours.
One thing I noticed was the tail got so hot I kept re-applying Vaseline and it would be absorbed by the rubber tail. Here are some pics during and after.
I also masked the quarters because the Vaseline would drip on the quarter panels.
