Definately not a flood car. Clean title (not a slavage), and nothing else on Carfax. The water inside is seeping in somewhere from rain. I have it covered so its not happening (previous owner had it in a garage per the auction house). Its just something I noticed once I got the car - likely just a plugged drain hole.
No engine problems other than rough idle - engine pulls very strong. The idle is prob just bad gas sine its been sitting. Also, Carfax said it was serviced at a local Porche dealer 6 months before I bought it, so I presume it was running fine at that time (and it had passed inspection then, so the electrical issues only came about after).
No body work issues, they';ve been taken care of, and rather well. I only stated the accident as I wanted to disclose there was one a few years back since I know that impacts price, but certainly nothing to do there as the body is straight and clean, and the paint has held up real well (and the repairs were color matched real well).
Tranny is absolutely fine, just some clutch slip.
I only post this additional detail to try to get an accurate idea of the car is worth. I don't want to price too high and get tire kickers, but I also don't want to price overly low. I was thinking $12k, which is what I paid for the car in identical conditition (I only drove it a 100 miles or so) 18 months ago in a weaker market. Does that sound unreasonable?
Again - I certainly appreciate everyone's feedback and opinions, its a big help.
