if you used stock rubber bushings, he trailin arm will not swing freely. that ishow they are designed. your old ones may have moved more freely becuase they were worn out.
Poly bronze or poly graphite bushing will tend to swing free. they work a bit differnently than rubber bushings do.
remember the shaft does not rotate inside the rubber bushing, it stays fixed in position relitive to the rubber pressing agnst it, any swing with rubber bushings is do to the rubber flexxing.
with poly bushings the shaft actually rotates in the bushing and thus can have much freer movement if they are aligned right.
