That motor is rare and cool, but I'd be careful calling it an RS motor, as it was more of a super secret power kit option than something destined for motorsport like the true SC/RS of that time.
That oil cooler looks just like the one in my '80 RoW SC. And yes, I've checked for the 3.1 stamp on mine and had none.
