I started with a 924 and I really enjoyed driving it. The fueal accumulator is a little tricky at times, but not impossible. I have seen these before. If I remember correctly, they made 1400 of these special edition 924s. You would think a limited edition car would be worth a lot more, but they aren't. I have seen them priced between $5000 and $800. To me, if you like the car and can do the work yourself, you can't go wrong with a $1300 car. At worse, you can replace the entire engine for $4-500. Parts are just as easy to get as 944 parts. I still have an engine for my first one in my shed. Good luck with it!
