I have been thinking about your fuel pump/accumulator/filter setup.

Fuel should flow from the pump, to the accumulator, to the filter and then to the fuel distributor.

Once you move the pump to a more appropriate location, you will need to install the accumulator and filter in an appropriate location on the left side of the engine room (near the CDI box).

To install your fuel accumulator and filter, you can get the SC bracket and accumulator to filter pipe from a bone yard. When installed, the setup will look like this:



If you do not want to get the fancy S pipe that connects the accumulator to the filter, you can do something like this:
