Hi Porchick,

Welcome to the group. Thanks for posting.

If this car had been a "S" model it would have been stamped "911S" in the first box.

Ya we have all read the stamped ID tag and wondered what is that "911 ~~ S 66"
in that second box.

It turns out to be the "Heizeinrichtung Typ" it's a certification for a type or function of the heater in Germany. 66 was the first year it met the requirements and those same numbers appear unchanged up thru the 1973 cars.

That "S" sure gets us thinking the first time we read it.
