Triangle of death breather leaks - and cost of new hose ($295?!)

I have my 3.2 on a stand and am fairly sure that gallons of oil have been spilled on the case and tranny from the crankcase breather hose. When I pulled the motor it seemed the hose was barely attached to the breather cover. Of course it may have been disturbed while removing the motor, but I want to be sure I address this the right way. I was shopping for the other oil breather hoses (air filter to oil tank) and they are $30 each... might as well replace them.

Then we get to the breather hose to the crankcase and its $300 bucks!???

Maybe because only Genuine Porsche parts are available?

I didn't see any problems with the hose I removed and I can just Oetiker or otherwise more permanently clamp it to the breather cover if the $300 part is the only solution. What do you all do in this area?
