Ok, just spent some time with the PET and the parts I have.
The PET catalog calls out more washer/Orings than through nuts. I assume this must be an error in the PET catalog. I am still short 1 washer though.

As I am flipping between the PET catalog and the shop manual, I notice another discrepancy that I had posted a question about yesterday. This is regarding the oil pressure relief valve at the bottom or the right half of the case. In the PET catalog the spacer ring is shown sliding over the guide sleeve. In the shop manual, the spacer ring is shown below the guide tube. The spacer ring will slide over the guide tube easily. When I disassembled, I thought I noted the spacer ring as sliding over the guide tube. Looking at the guide tube there are positional marks which appear as though the spring went against the guide tube, so the spacer must have gone below the guide tube. Does anyone know for sure which position the spacer should be in?
