I have been using CBPerformance for my carb parts for years and have been happy. I replaced my leaky pumps with their new pumps and have had no trouble.
Are you talking about the downdraft update kit that replaces the secondary venturi with the bar? This kit comes with new jets ,vents, and a rebuild kit. I'm not sure if the pump is included. This kit is supposed to help with power above 2500 RPM but will probably hurt your fuel economy.
