You need to find a local Porsche independent shop and have them do a PPI (pre-purchase inspection). It will cost you 2 - 300 bucks but that is small change for the correct analysis on the car. Post your location and ask for references from the board here.
Turbo's can be great cars and also expensive to repair. You need to know what you are buying. The Carfax only speaks to crashes and there is more to be concerned about than that. Maybe also post your question on rennlist.com
