I know, as someone who really worked hard at drawing, painting and sculpting as a kid his work is pathetic. Lots of drugs make anyone's art appealing i guess.Check out his shop boots, i have a pair just like them.

Jon it must be sanded down beyond the bad clear, primer sealer, and painted and cleared again. This is tricky and would be done best by a pro.
Sorry there is no easy fix for that that i know of.
