I have positioned engine under the car, lowered the body with floor jacks, and bolted in. most of the time I don't have to raise it much.
some have discussed a trans jack, ATV jack, table jack.
a piece of threaded rod for engine bar bolts would work to raise some to get it aligned.
trans lift by floor jack would do.
