Everyone needs a hobby. Some have fishing as a hobby and spend thousands on fishing poles and boats. I'm a beginning woodworker and have spent several thousand on a small shop and some nice tools and am saving up for a table saw that costs between $6-15K depending on what options I get and may require having the power company bring in 3phase power so I can plug it in. If you look at it like it was a buissnes there is no way for me to justifey the expense of that table saw. If you look at it as a hobby that makes you happy then that is justification enough.
