As part of the slippery slope now would be a good time to replace the rear suspension bushings, rear wheel bearings, and possibly the rear shocks. All of this is much easier with the engine/transmission out.
I would seal the "triangle and replace the vent hoes that goes from the breather to the oil tank. As far as the reference sensors and CHT, the SC's didn't have them.
