I did something very similar this past spring. I used a group 34 AGM in place of the 49. The only dimension that was different is the length. And of course weight. It was a bit more than 15 pounds lighter. The factory brackets fit, the cables didn't need to be modified and the bolt-down hole was right there and worked seamlessly.
