1969 911T targa restoration project.

1969 911T targa restoration project for sale. $16,500 OBO

Mostly complete running and driving car but rusty.

Original numbers matching engine.

The good:

I found this car a few years ago and was going to part it out but it is save-able and its all there so it is probably best to keep it all together. It is original ossiblau car. nice color. I would do it my self but have too many projects already.

The engine was rebuilt some time before it was parked it has compression numbers all between 135-140. It has pressure fed tensioner upgrade and upgraded carrea valve covers. It starts right up and runs smooth.

All the exterior chrome trim is very good showing no pitting or rust spots.
The chrome on the wheels is exceptionally good with no rust or pitting.

the doors are good, the front fenders are saveable with some rust but its not serious. Hood and engine lid are very good.

The glass is good.

The interior and gauges are all there with the exception of the radio.

I rebuilt the brake calipers including dis-assembly and zinc plating. They are as good as new.

The bad:

The undercarriage is rusty!

It needs inner rockers, outer rockers, floors, repair under the rear torsion tube, and repair of the gas tank support/ front trunk floor.

The targa top is bad, with only the frame left.
