My dog, like my 911, is air-cooled

Yesterday was unseasonably hot (for Seattle) and when I took my office assistant, Lily, for a walk she was panting pretty hard. It occurred to me that unlike humans, who are liquid cooled, i.e., use sweat to cool off, dogs pant, breathing in air more quickly as they get hot. In effect, they are air-cooled.

Most cars, of course, are liquid cooled, like humans. Maybe that's why I like both dogs and air cooled 911's so much. They're cooler.

Gratuitous picture of Lily in the office, making it hard for me to get any work done.
