VIN digit codes
Hey guys,
Does anyone know what the 9th digit in the VIN is? There's a car I'm looking at that the digit doesn't match with the VIN's I have seen published (the car has an "X" for the 9th digit). I just looked up in a Porsche book and it said that it is a "test digit". Does anyone know what this means? Just want to make sure the car is on the up and up (U.S and all).
