Non-detergent oil for break-in, why?
I have read several places to use ND oil for seating new rings in a rebuilt engine, does anyone actually know the reason(s) for this? I plan on using it, but I am one of those types who drove people crazy as a child w/ 1000 questions.  Anyone?
