I had a Land Rover that I picked up second hand for a "winter beater"... it had several rage marks on the outside. All little stuff brings out the hulk in people. Bad o2 sensors, loose wire on the body control unit, wet fusebox...

Nice score for the $3500. Doing your own work will leave you way out ahead.
