On film sets. In Vancouver.
He seemed like a kind and gentle person.
Pedalled (his ti road bike) to set, quite often, riding to the top of Mount Seymour.
He loved bicycles.

He was well liked in Vancouver. Never heard anyone (in film production) say a bad word about him.
