This is the hi beam ballast mounted to the spot where the fuse holder was. Remounted the fuse holder in front of the ballast, so there is clearance for the fresh air duct on the left side.
Everything mounted, reinstalling the plastic.
Low beam…. The nice thing about HID on the R1100S is the reflector in the headlamp housing is designed so it won't blind oncoming traffic unlike so many HID upgrades. There is a definite cut off of light across the top.
and Hi beam… which will cook the bugs so they just make dust when hitting your windshield.
