They have been around for years. I think they have an ignition set up for every car in existence that ran on points. I know lots of British Car guys that run the Pertronix system with no complaints. Some of the guys on this board do also. I think they exaggerate their claims, but most manufacturer's do. I probably would not buy their coil as I think the Bosch Blue Coil is superior. Personally I have never had a problem with a points ignition and continue to run points on my '58 Sprite, '72 MGB and, when I owned it, '72 911.
