My trusty SC has had some issues of late......3 crap the bed events in the last two weeks. All are fixed, I have an awesome tool box and a AAA Premium card.
The one last night was a pisser......the cable from the bell crank up to the throttle body snapped up at the throttle arm. I looked at it and itz a freaking bicycle shifter cable.
I have those parts sitting at the house.....
Got home under idle power as I was just 1/2 mile away......replaced the cable,,,,left rear wheel removal and vice grips and clamps.....
Anyways, what if anything can I use to make this more robust......beyond inspection and replacement like a timing belt on a well set up 944?
