The complications are all in the dimensions/adjustment range for our application.
It really needs the cable control equivalent of a "Hose-Man" shop to replicate the Boxster cables at a reasonable price.
This would be a great little mail order business opportunity for someone to offer a well fitting replacement made from generic parts.

That is the easy part. Selecting the correct parts and cutting the cable to the correct length would be a challenge!
