I had a fire HELP! pics

Well I had a little fire yesterday. It appears that I had some oil in my drivers side H/E and it caught on fire burnt through the flex hose to the flapper box and ignited the interior through the old eye bolt holes. I got the fire out now I'm wondering how this is all going to play out with the insurance company. I looked under the car and the wireing harness is burnt through (the car was trying to start by itself before I got the battery unhooked) and one of the brake lines is gone and some heat damage. Any advice? the Insurance appraiser is coming out tomorrow. No real damage to the exterior but. My questions 1. if it gets fixed will the smell go away? 2. what will this do to the resale value of my car? 3. will the car be totaled?

I know I rambled on but I have many questions and want to be prepared to do battle with the insurance company.

thanks

Dean
