Please do not be offended, but you said you didn't know how to
check the oil...you do know the engine has to be idling...and warm
don't you? I had a friend who when he bought his first used Porsche who didn't know the Porsche was a
dry sump engine and overfilled by a bunch because he was checking with the engine off.
