but overall I'm leaning towards the footwell option as this will direct the speakers in the right direction and is pretty unobtrusive ... anyone done this ? I'm thinking that once installed I'll seal the enclosure with a cut piece of ply across the top to get the bass to sound right and possibly cut a couple of ports into the carpet (again for bass reflex)
