Thanks you understand exactly what I'm saying, I also don't want to cut my brand new Basket-weave
door panels they cost a lot of $'s. I'm gonna go the route of installing them in the footwell map pocket. Theres enough room for the speaker + this carpet is already backed with pretty sturdy card. Ok you loose these pockets but hey what are the door pockets for then ? Its not original but then in the 21st century people like to have a great sounding music system, (that can be heard over the engine). I am really considering the rear shelf by Moch, thats a great design and I think you can get them with a Amp pre-installed. Interesting...
