I have bought 3 bikes sight unseen including my beloved R1100s. I have been very happy with all three. The R1100s was serviced at Bobs in MD. I contacted them and the verified what the seller had reported to me. I also bought a 77 CB 750F and through the pictures felt I had a good idea of the condition. I also snoop the seller on LinkedIn to verify his personal/professional background. My current bike is a VFR800. I contacted the dealer where he had service and the verified the history. I could be lucky, but I believe that there is a common thread between riders, and know that I wouldnt misrepresent a sale and hope that no one else would
