i'd try to stay away from Craigs List (CL) if you can.
the motocross forums usually have at least one "can you believe this guy?" CL link each week.
it's usually some meth head who says he put a new factory "powerband" in it, etc...
most times they get the model and year wrong on what they're selling.
rarely have paperwork.
...but they'll trade for a good quad or an almost-running 4x4 truck, and even meet you out behind walmart for the exchange.
doesn't happen often on E-bay. on CL it's a very common thing.
