I finished fitting the new air oil separator and reassembled the top end of the engine, changed transmission oil and did a coolant flush on my 2001 996. Started and ran first time, no check engine light or funny noises, always a nervous moment after doing a bigger job like this.
Only managed to extract 2 liters of old oil from the transmission, it took 3 liters to bring it up to the filler hole.
