A friend of mine and I will be riding to Texas in a couple of weeks to ride the Hill Country and go to the Races at COTA. Excellent trip every time. We go to Abilene, Tx to pick another friend, and head to the Hill Country . We spend a night camping at the Lonestar Motorcycle Museum, more Hill Country, then head to Austin for the races. They also have an awesome bike show on 6th street on Saturday night. If anyone is coming this way, we leave on April 8th at 7 am, spend the night in Abilene(Tx that is) then head to the Hill Country.
