If I was CK, it wouldn't really matter, because I could set the color with just the right composition and fix it in post-processing anyway. 
But since I'm not as good of a photographer as him, I'd have to take the black/white with the red frame.
Speaking of composition and color correction, is that R1100S orange? It certainly doesn't look DDP like the other red ones I've seen. Or is it one of those "white/gold, black/blue" things?
