I don't wonder at all really. Big male kangaroo goes what, 50 kg, hmm, that is almost 100 m/s. From what I remember about physics, that works out to all sorts of bad. Even if you subtract his speed from yours, as if he was running away from you, instead of trying to jump in your lap, which you and I both know is totally how it would play out, should one happen upon said marsupial, travelling at the aforementioned speed. I bet my miata would not go that fast if you dropped it out of an airplane
What kind of gas mileage are you getting at 300 plus, and how big is the gas tank?

Big male Red Roo's are up around 90kg and they make a real mess of the car. Only ever hit one but the car was literally destroyed.
