I've had some odd braking imbalances since I got this car and while they were not to bad i decided to look into it while I was overhauling the front pistons and cups.

I knew the previous owner had painted the calipers a nice red but had not given it much thought.

However I should have as the previous owner had painted them in one piece, they were not floating as they should, they were stuck together with paint.

This also goes for powder coating as a friend found out to his cost.

Anyway sandblasted and painted ready for the rebuild kits.

The kits are so cheap I should have done it when I bought the car.
