The 914 is basically around 2150 lbs fully assembled, the engine is around 350 lbs, the tranny is about 80 lbs, that leaves 1720. Loose the spare tire, that saves more. Strip some other stuff out, you could get to 1600 lbs.
Taking off the hood, trunk, engine lid and doors you would be there for sure. The 74 doors are fairly heavy.
