Hi Jeff, I really like the Rockster gauge cluster. Is it plug compatable or did you have to make some wiring mods? If it is plug and play, I'm going to find one and do the swap. My gauge cluster has a weird wrinkle in the housing above the speedo and that, along with the fact that I find the orange on black hard to read, would make the swap worthwhile for me.

Yes it is for the most part. The plug on the Rockster is different, but you can take the R1100S wiring and match it wire for wire. In other words as you take off one wire from your gauge put it in the same place on the Rockster gauge. That part is the same but the plug in on the Rockster is different. So for instance if you bought a Rockster gauge and there were no wires on it you would never know the difference.
