I dunno. I'd rather use the lift points on the chassis of the car vs. the wheels. Something about putting a round object on a flat surface and it having a tendency to roll..
I would also add a secondary support like a conventional set of jack stands as a contingency.
I have heard of way too many deaths that have occurred due to home made 'lift' systems. If I'me going to have 2500+ lbs hanging over me, I want to make sure it is the most stable setup going.
