It can be pretty bad at night. In the 50's, high humidity and rain on and off today. You can get pretty cold and uncomfortable under those conditions. Lots of black flies and mosquitoes as well.

I spent time at Camp Drum (Watertown NY) years ago and in August the days were quite warm but the nights in the field were just freaking miserable. These guys are in terrain and foliage that is unbelievably dense, difficult to see someone within three feet of a person. I have done some search and rescue in the Adirondacks and I couldn't believe how hard it was to navigate on foot. They don't call it "forever wild" for nothing.

I am not exaggerating. This is not camping more like bushwacking with 800 cops breathing down your neck.
