I work at a museum, we all wear the same color polo shirt with the logo, I have a name tag-key card clipped to my shirt, I carry a radio and a huge key ring... and people walk up to me and ask "do you work here?"

My pet peeve (probably has already been mentioned but don't want to dig all the way back into the thread).
Rolling road blocks, I commute on a four lane freeway... three or four people buzzing down the freeway door handle to door handle.
