+1 on the Wrecking Crew doc. Truly a labor of love from the great Tommy Tedesco's son.
I was mostly aware of the WC as the ubiquitous studio band that played on seemingly everything in the '60's, and that spawned Glen Campbell and Leon Russell. But the Carol Kaye stuff was a revelation.
There's some nice credit/scenes with the WC in the recent Brian Wilson biopic Love and Mercy. They should have gotten half the credit for the seminal Pet Sounds.
For anyone using the Songza app, they have a killer Wrecking Crew playlist that encapsulates the breadth of their skills nicely.
