Damn, it worked.
This is my old yellow 71, 1.7L bomb. I bought it for $500.00, spent a couple of years restoration, maybe $2000 plus a ton of labor, drove the hell out of it for two years and sold it for $4,200.00. The buyer replaced my 14 inch wheels with 15 and re-sold it a couple of months later for $5,700.00. The new buyer used it for PCA DE for a year or more without problems.
