This was taken from another list for another type of sports car.

I was walking my two dogs down the street near my house when some college aged kids (very young maybe 19 or 20) came buzzing down the street at what must have been at least 50 - 60 mph (Speed limit is about 25) in a riced out S2000. Car had the classic tuner wheels, side door graphics, coffee can exhaust, and to top it off one of those stupid dippy little wings on the back. I was a bit pissed to see kids buzzing down a small neighborhood street like that.

It's a dead end so I knew they would be back. It was Monday and I had the day off. My typical dress around the house would never indicate I own any type of exotic car. I usually wear a ratty t-shirt, some Russell Athletic or Champion shorts, a ball cap and a pair of flip flops.

As they started to buzz my way again I stuck my hand out and yelled slow down at them pretty loud. They passed by and then slammed on the brakes and yelled back at me "what the hell is your problem"

I walked over and told them to slow the hell down, that this was a neighborhood not the set of Fast and the Furious III. The punk looked at me and said "well if you had this fast ride, man, you'd drive that way too, not my fault you don't drive something this fast blah, blah, blah......" At this point I thought let it rest but his side kick said "yeah, why don't you just go home and hop in your minivan and mind your own business we weren't hurting anybody.." I though that's it, let's have some fun with these two losers.

The kids were not from my neighborhood and even if they were other than a few people who live next to me no one ever sees the my Ferrari since it never gets driven on the street and it's usually in a trailer.

So I said to them....."I'll tell you what Ricer Boy...You just stay right here for about 2 minutes and I'll go get my car out of the garage and we'll see if you car is really fast".

To top it off he said.." you do that, bring it on pops...we'll wait right here.."

You can't imagine the look on their faces when I turned onto the street in my Challenge car. To top it off I had just re-installed the loud Challenge exhaust a few days prior.

I have no idea what they said to each other but it would have been priceless to know.

I pulled next to them (no traffic coming the other way) and reved the engine to 9000 rpms a few times. They were still staring in amazement....utterly speechless.

I cut the engine and yelled over to them..."that kiddies is a real REAR WING! Now get the f*ck out of my neighborhood until you get a REAL F'n FAST CAR!!

Then started her back up and spun the car around and waived to them as I sped off.

I thought they migh follow me just to see the car but I guess they were too stunned.

I can't begin to describe their faces. It's one of those things were you just have to be there, words can't accurately describe it.
