Red arrow is hard to see, ran out of ink....Finally got it fixed and back together. FAIK, there aren't any parts for repair on the wiper linkage. A new one is around $500. Picture 1, red arrow, shows where the slack was. Took it to a welder and all is tight. Picture 2 is after the repair, and picture 3, wipers parking to the right, is why it all started.
